About our Book
Hello, welcome to our Blog.
We are a retired, Christian, married couple, Garry and Ellen Duguid. Ellen is a freelance writer, Christian Counsellor, Spiritual Director and speaker; she studied at Christian World Revival College, in the UK. Garry was an engineer, holding a variety of senior posts, latterly as Technical Director of a UK TV company. We have a married daughter and four grandchildren, two boys, two girls.
We have written a book called “Where are all the Men?” which is subtitled “Why don’t more men commit to God; why don’t more men commit to marriage?” The book is based on our own experience of marriage, and that which we gleaned from studies, the writings of others, and God’s perspective as outlined in Scripture. We seek especially to inform and encourage men in their relationship with women. Our researches have helped us in our lives together: it is our fervent prayer that it will help you in yours.
It is with this in mind that we invite you to share your experiences with us via this Blog.

We knew about the Black Madonna, but not it’s history. Can you share more? You might like to look at http://garryduguid@stblogs.com for more comments on Catholic topics.

Excellently written report, if only all writers created the same posts as you, the internet would have been a greater destination.

Garry and Ellen replied:-Thanks for the encouraging comment! What do you find in it to make it your top site? What would you like to see more of on it? We want to write about topics that interest our Christian readership, but without feedback we are sometimes at a loss…So we’d love to hear more from you.

Ppl like you get all the brains. I just get to say thanks for the answer.
Garry and Ellen replied:No more brains than most of God’s people (but years of getting it wrong: that’s called experience), and asking Him for His perspective.

Good column , I am going to spend more time researching this subject
Garry and Ellen replied:We hope you will share some of what you unearth in your researches. There is always more to discover in God’s world, and we are so very limited in our understanding of our relationships both with Him, and others.
